Auto-zoom to subject
Detect subject, set zoom for you
About auto-zoom. Turn on "auto-zoom to subject" and the tool finds the
person using a skin-tone heuristic — pure pixel math, no ML, no cloud — then sets
the zoom and recenters on them automatically (the main view shows the actual cropped
6×8; the full-frame panel shows what was kept). This is the no-AI floor: free and instant, but foolable by skin-toned
backgrounds. The production Python service does the same job with a local face
detector (classical computer vision, also free, also no cloud) which is markedly more
reliable. Either way, nothing here is the per-image cloud AI you were pricing out.
